The German Centre's eight-storey building is 24,900 sqm wide and equipped with an IT network system, allowing effective research to be conducted through state-of-the-art telecommunications technology. This includes up to 1,000 installed telephone and fax lines, Internet applications, video conferencing and Internet telephones provided through the Media Centre.
The social working environment is supported by a restaurant, and convention areas that are accessible at the top floor through four passenger elevators. For the transport of goods, the German Centre building implements two elevators with heavy-duty rubber mat, holding the capacities of 2.2 and 3.2 tons. Fire control, television monitored security system and an electrical distribution system with separated meters and a main supply of 1,450 KVA as well as a diesel engine as emergency generator, are among the many features of the building.
Besides a spacious function room, which seats up to 400 people, the German Centre provides other conference rooms of varying size.The function room is, for example, suitable for annual meetings, product launchings, company anniversary parties or private occasions.
For smaller scale meetings four other conference rooms are available. The smaller ones (Padang Room & Bandung Room, each 40 m²) seat 12 people, while the bigger ones (Berlin Room, 93 m² & Jakarta Room 89 m²) seat about 50 people
Our affiliated companies may use these provided facilities anytime, which means that they do not have to go through often long and expensive processes of finding and renting suitable rooms in local hotels or office buildings. Of course interested parties from outside may lease these facilities.
