December’s Business Luncheon

On 10th December 20 tenants and friends of the German Centre Indonesia attended our last Business Luncheon for the year 2009. At the 7th floor, Mr. Alvin Siagian, Managed Services Director, and his assistant Mr Lingga spoke about “Managing your Business Continuity and IT During Disaster”. Sigma Cipta Caraka, the  leading banking solution provider in Indonesia, was established in 1987 and operates several business units at the German Centre since 2000. Sigma Cipta Caraka is providing the Indonesian as well as international markets with a wide range of professional IT services, from software development, data centre operation, network operation, ATM operation, data storage, disaster recovery centers and call center operations, all the way to providing support for IT project management and implementation. Obviously there is a lot to know about data security and especially the threats lurking in the internet and so the subsequent Question and Answer session became quite extensive, but apparently highly interesting for all attendees.
